Hunt: Showdown cheats setup

Windows install flow — loader order, exclusions, and first-launch checks. For step-by-step community notes, see the install forum thread.

Step 1

Prepare Windows and Hunt

  • Use 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 with Hunt: Showdown updated through Steam.
  • Close extra overlays (Discord, capture tools) that can block menu hotkeys.
  • Check /updates/ — load only when status reads Active for your build.

Step 2

Delivery and loader

  • After checkout you receive loader access by email. Use only the link from your order.
  • Run exclusions for Windows Defender if support docs require them for your build.
  • If status is Updating, wait for a rebuilt loader instead of forcing an old binary.

Step 3

First match checklist

  • Launch Hunt in borderless or windowed if hotkeys fail in exclusive fullscreen.
  • Enable hunter ESP first, then loot filters. Add combat assist last if you use it at all.
  • Using cheats can still lead to reports or bans — Crytek decides enforcement.
